I have been in the caring profession for the last 27 years & it has been predominately in looking after the elderly. I started this profession as a care assistant then worked & gained valuable knowledge & experience as a senior care officer where I had a lot of responsibility in ensuring the 37 residents & staff on duty, and health & safety were my priority. I thoroughly enjoyed my job & got a lot of satisfaction from it, on occasions it was challenging but so worthwhile.
